Easy Installation and Configuration
With a backlit display and easy installation and configuration process, the 8732 transmitter is designed to work in any type of system or environment. It also offers the ability to request the system to have HART, PROFIBUS PA, FOUNDATION Fieldbus output as well as full device diagnostics.
Once installed, any additional configuration or communication information can be read through a glass front cover, with no need to open the meter or transmitter once installed. The system can be password protected, ensuring accidental changes to the system cannot be made.
Verifications
Additionally, with the option to include Smart Meter Verification or calibration verification, the system checks itself within situ meter diagnostics and produces a verification report to meet any local, state or federal regulations.
In addition, the flow meter and the Rosemount 8732 are also able to generate diagnostics on a wide range of possible issues with the system. This includes notifying if there is a wiring fault or a grounding issues if there is a transmitter fault, coil fault or high process noise which may be impacting the meter and transmitter performance.
