An American Holocaust Foundation is committed to honoring the memory and the life lessons of the Holocaust survivors and their allies by working towards a future devoted to social justice for all individuals,

Since 2009, The Zachor Holocaust Remembrance Foundation has demonstrated its philosophy of tolerance and values of inclusiveness and compassion by providing engaging educational and outreach programs and online resources. They advocate for a more vibrant and tolerant future for all by eradicating intolerance, prejudice, bigotry, and bullying throughout the world.

One way they enact this mission is by the active and engaged teaching of tolerance and understanding. The Foundation’s goals include reaching out to its worldwide audience to share the values and lessons of compassion, empathy, and engagement.

The non-profit American Holocaust Foundation seeks to ensure that the Holocaust is not forgotten and that the world continues to learn from this tragedy. As William Wordsworth urged those interested in bettering themselves and society, “learn from the past to profit by the present, and from the present, to live better in the future.”

The Foundation continues to guarantee its mission of preserving Holocaust survivors’ stories. Serving the ever-changing world, the Zachor Holocaust Remembrance Foundation is also dedicated to teaching tolerance, inspiring future generations through education and advocacy, including their interactive and innovative tolerance campaign.

Through honoring the lessons of Holocaust survivors and their strength and resilience, the Foundation seeks to foster a worldwide community dedicated to committed political and social engagement and advocacy for compassion, awareness, and tolerance for all peoples and the prevention of future genocides.
