Railroads are not as heavily under construction as they once were a hundred years ago. However, that does not mean that new railways will not be constructed. On the contrary, railroads are still a vital part of moving heavy goods and raw materials over the ground. If you are embarking on building more rails in Nebraska, you will need the following railroad construction equipment.
Track Loaders
These machines carry large sections of steel track and help place them on rail ties. Track loaders are an invaluable part of railroad construction equipment because of their specific job function. It helps to have at least two track loaders working on the rails simultaneously in order to more efficiently and quickly construct railways.
Grizzly Sheet Pile Drivers
Railroads are mostly steel if you ignore the wooden ties. As such, you need to drive them together and bolt them into the ties. This is best done when you have a grizzly sheet pile driver that can deliver several thousand pounds of driving force per square inch. One of these machines is more than adequate for constructing a straight and long section of track. However, if you are going to create a split track and both sections diverge away from each other, you should have an extra pile driver on hand. That way both sheet pile drivers can be working on separate sections of track without stopping or splitting your time and attention to work on just one section of track.
