Trim Levels

You’ve got seven trim levels with the new Subaru Outback in Frankfort. The base level of trim comes with a nice selection of standard equipment, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, adaptive cruise control and LED headlights. The next level of trim, which is the Premium, nets you dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and an 11.6-inch touchscreen. Moving up to the Limited, you add blindspot monitoring and a power liftgate. Continuing on to the Touring trim, you’ll enjoy the addition of ventilated front seats and upgraded leather upholstery. With the Onyx Edition XT, you’ll add a front-view mirror and upgraded exterior cladding. Finally, the Limited XT and the Touring XT are like the Limited and Touring trims but have a turbocharged engine.

Drive Train

The base, Premium, Limited and Touring trim levels come equipped with a 2.5-liter H-4 gasoline engine that pumps out 182 horsepower. The Onyx Edition XT, the Limited XT and the Touring XT feature a 4.4-liter H-4 turbocharged gasoline engine that’s rated for 26- horsepower. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed CVT auto-manual transmission with overdrive, and all of them feature all-wheel-drive.

Safety

The new Subaru Outback in Frankfort has a suite of safety features such as automatic braking and an advanced DriverFocus system. Additionally, the SUV scored a good (the highest rating possible) in every test given by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
