A chandelier is as timeless as it is sophisticated. Tour through any home of the rich and famous and you’ll find at least one chandelier gracing the ceilings, shining bright, and sparkling in all its glory. Luckily, you don’t have to rich or famous to have a chandelier of your own. You can create your own masterpiece, complete with an Asfour crystal ball prism, to transform your home from ordinary to extraordinary. So, what do you need to create this wow factor? Not as much as you may think:

  • Ceiling canopy kit

  • Bulb socket

  • Lamp cord

  • An assortment of crystal pendants and prisms

The types of crystal pieces you choose will largely depend on your own tastes, your budget and where you’re going to place the chandelier. Whether you put it in your walk-in closet, or your dining room, the pieces you choose are going to tell a story – your story. It can be as unique as you are.

Making your chandelier

You’ll have to wire the socket (using the directions on the package) and thread it through the canopy; once the chandelier is made, you can thread the lamp cord through the canopy.

It might be a good idea to design your chandelier on paper first; or, use a software program to design it so you know what you want your finished product to look like. You can purchase the crystals wholesale, so you’ll have plenty for your project. If you have some left over, use them to make sun catchers, tree ornaments, or even earrings.

Once you’ve created your work of art and hung it up in your home, you can show it off to your guests. You won’t have to point it out – they will notice it and are sure to comment. It all starts with an Asfour crystal ball prism, and finishes with your imagination and creativity.
