Extrusion
Most wiring today is made from a process called extrusion. An extrusion machine uses a few basic components. For example, metal is usually softened by heat and pushed through a die. If you put a piece of meat into a meat grinder and turn the handle, you’ll see an extrusion process that turns beef scraps into hamburger.
