It’s that time again, and you’re about to embark on a voyage across the sea to a foreign land. This time you’ve decided to pick Seville, Spain, but you aren’t entirely too sure what to see or where to go while there. Luckily for you, there are plenty of tourist attractions in Seville, Spain for you to visit. It’s a city that is wonderfully rich in lore. You will be privileged to see structures dating as far back as the mid-12th century, and others that go as far back as the Roman Empire. You can’t go wrong with a vacation to this Andalusian location.

What to Do, What to See?
Are you a history buff? Do you enjoy seeing buildings constructed well before the renaissance? Here are a couple of places that might pique your interest while you’re in the area.

• Italica
This is one of the oldest areas of the region, and is said to be where the Romans originally settled in the region. By exploring around you can come across ancient ruins left by one of the world’s most well-known and formidable empires of the past. This is one place you shouldn’t pass on if you consider yourself even the slightest bit of a history buff.

• The Royal Palace Alcazares
This is the original throne to the Moorish kings, and was reconstructed by King Fernando III to add gothic elements. By visiting this location you can see both the Moor influences, and the more modern gothic architectures working in unison. If you like architecture, then this should be one of the many stops you make in the city.

A City of Romance
Seville is one of this country’s gems, and it’s hidden to the far south away from places like Barcelona and Madrid. Your trip to this city will be rewarded with beautiful vistas of the Spanish countryside, and sprinkled with hints of a Moor and Roman history. If you’re looking for someplace outside of the norm to go for a romantic getaway, then you can’t go wrong with this location.

There is so much to see in the country of Spain, and Seville is one of those hidden gems that not many people think about when traveling abroad. You can have an adventurous time exploring the countryside by investigating old Roman ruins, and learning about a history that is dominated by the Moorish people.  When you’re thinking about traveling, don’t forget the province of Andalusia in Spain.
