If you want to build a home large enough for everyone to have a bedroom or so you can expand your family in the future, then consider the 4-bed, 3-bath house plans that are available. You’ll have plenty of space for your children and possibly other family members who want to move in with you at a later time, such as an in-law or an elderly parent. Consider a few of the design ideas that are available so that the home is built just the way that you want it to look.

Multiple Levels

If you want a home with at least four bedrooms, then consider multiple levels instead of trying to squeeze every bedroom on one level. A multi-story home will often make everyone feel like they have more space to move around. You could design the home with a master bedroom and bathroom on one floor and the other bedrooms on the upper floor. You could spread the bedrooms and bathrooms out a bit more with three stories or a basement and attic.

More Than Bedrooms

Just because you decide on one of the 4-bed, 3-bath house plans available doesn’t mean that you need to use each room as a bedroom. Only use those that you need for sleeping. The other rooms can be used for spaces like a library, exercise area or a playroom for your children. With multiple bedrooms in your home, you have more options for the amenities that you want in your home so that you don’t have to expand in the future. Once your children go to college or move out on their own, you’ll have plenty of space to enjoy years of retirement. You’ll also have a good amount of time to spend with your grandchildren. A benefit of multiple bedrooms is that you can get as creative as you want when decorating and designing your house.
